Our shower curtain kits contain a special shower curtain that creates a reusable water tight seal against both your shower walls whether for use in a shower stall or combination bathtub /shower. You can create this “Instant Shower Door” at a fraction of the cost of an actual solid shower door. The kit also contains two tubes that suspended down from the shower rings closest to the walls and are made to fit into the specially designed side sleeves of the curtain. The tubes inside each of the side sleeves of the curtain then snaps into the wall channels, creating a reusable water tight seal.

There are various types and sizes of shower curtains to choose for your kit. Some of our curtains feature a breathable mesh at the top of the curtain to allow increased ventilation and light into your shower unit. Other curtains are completely all fabric with no mesh or our new vinyl PEVA plastic (biodegradable) curtains that have no mesh.

All fabric curtains are made of durable polyester and have both water resistant and anti-microbial treatments.

How it Works

The wall channels adhere to your shower wall and rubber tubes are held in the side sleeves of the curtain. The tube and curtain are pressed into the channels creating the seal.

Seals Both Sides of Your Shower

This kit includes 2 rubber tubes and 6 wall channels to enable you to seal both sides of your leaking shower. The reusable seal is created on both sides from the top to the bottom.

Additional Info

Our Shower Curtain Kit comes with everything you need to seal both sides of your shower. The wall channels feature self-adhesive backings that allow the channels to be secured to your shower wall without the need for any tools. The two rubber sealer tubes fit inside the special sleeves on either side of our special StayDry shower curtain.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the StayDry System with my decorative curtains?

Yes! Decorative curtains can be placed on the same rings in front of your StayDry curtain or liner.

What if I am moving and want to take my StayDry system with me?

You can easily remove your wall channel without causing any damage to your shower walls. Gently pry the wall channels off with a butter knife or similar tool. You can either glue your wall channel in its new location or contact StayDry to order a replacement.

What should I do if my wall channel will not stick to the wall?

Extreme irregularities in the wall or some surfaces may require caulking to provide secure installation.

I have installed your Shower curtain and wall channel, why would water still be escaping between the top of my bathtub and the wall onto the floor.

We have noted in a few situations that the bathtub was not properly installed and it is actually on a slant outward toward the bathroom floor. Ideally the tub should be properly re-installed or your can you place a small rubber dam on the top of the bathtub near your wall channel to divert the water back into the tub.

Can I purchase extra or longer wall channels?

Yes, a customer can purchase both extra wall channels, longer wall channels, tubes and various size curtains. These are all available on our parts ordering page.
